Politika Daily: Education in Continuous Dialogue with Industry.
President of the Conference of Academies and Colleges of Applied Studies of Serbia (KASSS) and President of the Academy of Technical and Art Applied Studies Belgrade (ATUSS), PhD Ana Savić, told the daily Politika that applied higher education is playing an increasingly important role in preparing young people for the labour market, as it provides not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills.

"Each admission cycle brings us back to an important question: What kind of education do young people truly need today? We live in a time when the labour market is changing faster than education systems can sometimes keep pace with. Some professions are disappearing, new ones are emerging, and the boundaries between occupations are becoming increasingly fluid. It is no longer enough to acquire knowledge as a collection of information; it must be applicable, practical, and connected to real life. That is precisely why I believe that applied higher education has a more important role today than ever before."
